27 Aug EMC takes home awards for superior hardware
When technology firms are able to achieve success, many are honored with awards that highlight superior products or service.
In one recent example, EMC Corporation was named Company of the Year in the Enterprise Network Storage and Recovery Software as part of the CRN Annual Report Card. The firm’s security division, RSA, also took home honors including Network Security Software Company of the Year.
The award ceremony occurred at the xChange Americas Conference in Dallas, Texas, on August 21. The products that were honored specifically included the EMC VNXe, which provides small and medium-sized business with more scalable and cost-effective storage options The products can be used for governmental operations, and in remote and branch offices as well.
In the release, EMC touted the ways it had improved its Velocity Solution Provider Partner Program, which seeks to give a "channel friendly" experience to those who have the need for products. The company pointed to the newly introduced EMC VSPEX Proven Infrastructure . The products are able to give users the chance to obtain flexible solutions and make their business even more valuable than before.
According to the leadership of EMC, the firm has been putting a major amount of efforti n into making its partners program significantly better over the past few years.

"With their extensive experience and skill at taking on more and more of the sales cycle, EMC's Velocity Partners are critically important to extending our reach into the existing customer base and to finding new customers.
