Infor anticipates productive year

For companies to succeed, they have to balance quantity and quality as effectively as possible. In the IT industry, vendors need to be able to provide a number of strong products if they wish to stay competitive in the market. Leading business application software firm Infor plans to do just that in 2013.

According to the business, nearly 300 new Infor products are set for release in the coming year, a 150 percent increase over 2012. But the organization doesn't expect to turn its back on its existing catalogue – in fact, it plans to double the number of added enhancements released and quadruple the number of integrations with third-party apps.

"For companies to thrive in today's business climate, they must be able to quickly and easily adapt to constantly changing business models and landscapes," said Infor CEO Charles Phillips. "Infor is again stepping up development so we can go 'faster together' with our customers, providing the next-generation business applications that will propel business to new heights of productivity and profitability."

So far in 2013, Infor and its solutions have been recognized as among the best on the current market. Infor Orbis was selected as part of this year's Marketing Resource Management (MRM) Gartner Magic Quadrant, and the company was recently awarded a 5-star rating by CRN.
