Pinnacle Business Systems is currently hiring an experienced Part-Time/Flexible Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join our team in Edmond, Oklahoma. Our accounting team members are key contributors to our success here at Pinnacle Business Systems, a 2017 CRN SP500 and Inaugural CRN Triple Crown award winner.

This position involves diplomatic interaction with customers to provide billing information and support in order to facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization. A large focus will also be on facilitating in-depth credit history reviews for prospective customers and vendors.

We are looking for approximately 20 hours a week.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Assists in the financial analysis, credit underwriting and approval process
  • Collaborate with account team to maintain collection goals and general A/R performance levels
  • Effectively assist in other duties as needed
  • Post and reconcile customer payments to general ledgers


Position reports directly to CFO

Qualifications and Requirements


  • Associates degree preferred or two years accounts receivable experience or an equivalent combination
  • Strong knowledge of collection regulations and fair credit practices
  • Experience working with credit terms
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting software
  • Strong diplomatic, negotiation, conflict resolution skills in order to handle late payments and delinquent accounts
  • Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
