Sales Support Representative

Job Summary

The Sales Support Representative position will require the candidate to act as liaison between Pinnacle’s sales team, Pinnacle’s accounting department, and different technology manufacturers and distributors. Candidate will have several activates going at once in different phases of the their job responsibilities at all times, so multi-tasking, managing workload, prioritizing tasks, and communicating clearly throughout is critical to being successful in this position. Specific tasks candidate will be responsible for in a day-to-day capacity as liaison, include but are not limited to the following:


Pre-sales Activities:

  • Obtain price quotes from various distributors for sales team to present to end-user customers
  • Obtain product registration
  • Create customer-facing estimates and quotes
  • Work hand-in-hand with a dedicated sales team and pre-sales technical team
  • Work with manufacturers for registration and special pricing

Post-sales Activities:

  • Process orders with Accounting/Purchasing

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of college, or related experience in IT industry, serving in similar capacity, or closely with those in similar role, or IT manufacturer or distributor. Some roles that would apply include: Sales Support, Marketing, Data Entry, Programs Manager / Administrator
  • Able to demonstrate skill level in Microsoft Excel (expert level expected)
  • Must be a proven multi-tasker
  • Great communication skills, able to easily articulate procedures
  • Work well under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Able to manage and meet deadlines; or communicate clearly to those involved why the deadline needs to be reset.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Has an interest in the technology field
  • Works well as a team and individually
  • Ability to easily adapt to different personalities
