Pinnacle Business Systems is currently hiring a Senior VDI Engineer with experience deploying and troubleshooting virtual desktop environments. Strong virtual desktop administration (Horizon View) is a must, and the candidate should also have excellent troubleshooting (Active Directory, DNS, DFS) skills. A current VMware certification around VDI or other is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participates as an infrastructure engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of desktop virtualization environments
- Design, install, configure and manage VMware virtualization environment components (vSphere, vSAN for Horizon, Horizon, Workspace ONE, ThinApp, App Volumes)
- Ensure virtualization systems are compliant with required security standards
- Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VMware desktop virtualization environment
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the virtualization environment; ideally including Microsoft and/or Linux O/S knowledge
- Develop server/system migration strategies and processes for virtualized and non-virtualized desktop environments
Note: In addition to these responsibilities, preference will be given to candidates who are also well versed with Citrix and are able to perform Citrix configurations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Four-year college degree; MIS major highly desired but not required
• Experience of 3+ years in related experience to include Horizon View, Active Directory or similar
• Professional, creative and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent presentation and conversational skills
