PODCAST: IT in the Classroom: “It Just Has To Work” – Dr. Jack Green

Ransomware attacks on school networks throughout the country have forced districts to pay millions of dollars to hackers. Pinnacle’s Education & Government Solutions Leader, Dr. Jack Green, explains that cybersecurity has to be at the forefront of education leaders’ minds to prevent these attacks.

“I think of [cybersecurity] as a triangle of people, processes, and technology,” Dr. Green explained, saying that bad actors target people as they are the easiest to probe. By requiring more rigorous passwords and credentialing, IT teams can better enhance security.
